Urban areas are particularly prone to climate change impacts. Simultaneously, the world’s population increasingly resides in cities. What needs to be done to protect them?

The importance of cities is increasing worldwide from many aspects and in a climate that continues to change, a whole range of stakeholders are facing ever greater challenges, also with regard to the necessary climate adaptation measures.
